Dinuguan is a Filipino dish made from pig's blood and meat.
The term Dinuguan comes from the word "dugo" meaning "blood".
This is one of my favorite Filipino dish!
And I'm here to share with you my simple yet delicious Dinuguan recipe.
1/2 kilo Pork loin, cut into cubes
10 oz Pork Blood
1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
1 medium sized Onion (chopped)
3 pcs long Green Pepper
1 cup Vinegar
1 cup Water
1 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
In a sauce pan, sauté garlic and onion
Add the pork and sauté for 5 minutes
Add water and simmer until the meat is tender
Add the pork blood, mix well & simmer for 10 minutes
Add vinegar then simmer for 15 minutes
Add the brown sugar & the long green pepper, then simmer for 2 minutes
It's done! Serve hot with rice or "puto". Enjoy! ^_^
